Becoming Catholic – RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is the process through which adults are initiated into the Catholic faith. On the journey the person is considered an apprentice one who is learning the Catholic way of life by being initiated into the community.

Requirements

• Must be 20 years of age & NOT in high school
• Donations $50

Registration Priority

Priority for registration: Pico Gardens, Pueblo Del Sol, Las Casitas and parishioners that regularly attend Mass at Dolores Mission.

Additional Information

This is a 4-month program. It begins in November during Advent and ends in late Spring (Confirmation date is determined by the Los Angeles Archdiocese each year).

• Classes meet every Sunday from 10:30am to 12:00pm in Dolores Mission School
