School

Dolores Mission School is a parochial school educating students in grades Kindergarten through Eight in the heart of Boyle Heights in East Los Angeles. We strive to serve the families of the greater parish community by offering their elementary school age children the academic and extracurricular programs necessary for them to achieve their fullest human potential in a safe and nurturing environment. By providing a variety of academic and enrichment activities, we hope to develop well-rounded children who are prepared academically, spiritually, physically, socially and emotionally.

Dolores Mission School features dedicated science, technology and art labs on the third floor of the school that was updated in 2007. Dolores Mission School students participate in extra curricular activities such as Academic Decathlon, intramural sports, reading clubs, student council, yearbook and art club.

Dolores Mission School students receive a strong educational foundation with core curriculum classes that help them earn the grades to be accepted and attend prestigious parochial high schools such as: LaSalle High School, Cantwell Sacred Heart, Salesian High School, Sacred Heart of Jesus, San Gabriel Mission, Mayfield Senior School, Loyola High School, Holy Family, and Ramona Convent.

With the strong academic and faith-based foundation that Dolores Mission School alumni receive, many attribute their academic successes to the groundwork that is provided early in their elementary and junior high school days. Alumni of Dolores Mission School have graduated from USC, UCLA, Loyola Marymount University and many others.
